# 19-devshell-vs-shellfor

This example compares two dev shell styles for the same local package.
|
||
|
|
|
||
|
|
It includes:

||
|
|
|
||
|
|
- a generic `mkShell` shell,
|
||
|
|
- a Haskell-specific `shellFor` shell,
|
||
|
|
- one local package that both shells support, and
|
||
|
|
- a test suite run by `nix flake check`.
|
||
|
